Tutor Training/Support
9 hour pre-service training * Lesson planning assistance * Follow-up and in-service training * Tutor lunch bunch discussions * Consultation with staff on student progress * Free materials staff assess and enroll adults for: * One-on-one tutoring * Study groups at the Center * Media Instruction * GED referrals * GED Scholarships Information/Referral Services * Provide literacy statistics * Refer students to appropriate program/service * Share expertise and information with other literacy programs * Give speeches and make presentations

Intake and Assessment
Interview students and help with goal setting * Assess student level in reading/math * Offer pre-employment testing for business * Consult with business on workplace initiatives
